Dylan is a performing songwriter, guitarist and drummer. These days he travels between Washington, Buffalo and Portland with a yearly side trip to Kerrville, Texas developing songs described as "aggressive folk-punk w/ pop hooks" and "Acoustic Green Day." He plays drums and sings backup for the Faith Soloway Crisis. He teaches a drum class for the Club Passim School of Music, "Giving Groove: Accompanying Singer/Songwriters on Percussion," as well as additional recording and performing projects.

He has performed with the likes of Faith Soloway, Kris Delmhorst, Chris Elliot, Hamell On Trial, James O'Brien, Jim Infantino, Chaz, Karaugh Brown, Lorna Hunt, Hughe McGowan, NMelvern Taylor...

Faith Soloway Crisis

Dylan became a part of Faith Soloway's "Crisis" as a cast member in Faith's third Rock Opera, "The Lezboat," and has since been playing drums and singing backup for the group. Highlights include the "Great Women's Voices" shows at the Somerville Theatre and the infamous rock operas "Jesus Has Two Mommies," "The Folksorcist," "Miss Folk America," and "Debbie Does Falcon Ridge."

Jim's Big Ego

Dylan joined Jim's Big Ego in August of 1997 as drummer and backing vocalist. Dylan with Kurt Uenala on Standup Bass and backing vocals provided the support for Jim Infantino on lead vocals, guitar, harmonica, sequencer, etc. ad infinitum. Together they performed in clubs throughout the Northeast from the Left Bank in Blue Hills, ME to the Northstar Bar in Philadelphia, PA to Tinker Street in Woodstock, NY.

Highlights include the Halloween show at Club Passim in 1997 and sharing bills with such greats as Dar Williams, 10,000 Maniacs, The Pushstars, Moxy Fruvous, The Nields, June Rich, Hamell On Trial, The Nudes, Kevin So, Peter Mulvey, Jess Klein, as well as many others...

Jabbering Trout

Jabbering Trout Stuff

Dylan made a name for himself performing as the drummer and backup vocalist for Jabbering Trout. Thom Burris was the lead vocalist and guitarist for the group in which both Tony D'Agostino (1/95-7/95) and Arrisen Towner (1/96-7/96) performed the electric bass.

Jabbering Trout started off performing in the open mic scene in Boston and from there went on to release two albums, the self-titled debut and "Swell," appear on several compilations and tour the eastern half of the US 15 times performing in such random and interesting places as some bay up in Maine for a Russian fishing trawler, the main stage at the Kerrville Folk Festival, and Boston's Mamakin Rock Club opening for Aerosmith.

Highlights include winning Boston's Acoustic Underground competition's group category in 1994, being a part of the prestigious Internet Quarttet Songwriter Tour (see Billboard Magazine, 11/19/94) and performing with a whole bunch of great folks including: Hamell On Trial, Aerosmith, Ani DeFranco, The Nields, Letters to Cleo, The Pushstars, Jeff Buckley, Jorma Kaukonen of Hot Tuna, Machinery Hall, John Wesley Harding, Jen Trynin, Blue Mountain, God Street Wine, Jill Sobule, Spirit of the West, etc., etc...
